Arrived London Friday BB&evening meal curtsey of my lovley friends Mary & Gareth. Caught up with Kate and Pete and reaquainted myself with the house cat/fox Owen ,found out to my cost that he has turned out to be a feisty beast and wont be messed with ah cats sooo independant - but he is so fluffy i just want to cuddle him.Spent saturday chillin' and looking for houses to buy or rent in the Worcester area showed K&P how to virtually Travel on google maps , another few hours of time wasting! Chris and the boys went off to the England France match the plan being to meet up for some grub in town later how did I know it would mean late dining again . On the trip into Oxford street i purchased my first Oyster Card - Talk about the town mouse and the country mouse - on using it for the first time whilst everyone else seemed to exit the station with ease I was stood at the barrier would the light turn green- not a chance - having been given a lecture about the importance of the green light on exiting the station I was left pathetically calling out for help as the aforesaid friends backs were exiting the building even the boy wonder(no 1 son ) had managed the barrierwith the aplomb of a habitual user . We ate at Stephs nice italian rest just off Oxford St - the rugger buggers arrived eventually and a good time was had by all- Sunday was for rest and recouperation, something I am well practised at .Monday just about to go out for lunch with Gareth TTFN xxx
